TL;DR: SentryRF stores all data locally on your device. We collect nothing. No accounts, no cloud, no telemetry, no tracking.
1. Information We Collect
SentryRF does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All app data — including scan results, device history, threat logs, settings, and location data — is stored exclusively on your device in a local encrypted database.
2. Permissions
SentryRF requests the following device permissions solely for counter-surveillance functionality:
- Bluetooth & Nearby Devices: Required to scan for BLE and classic Bluetooth tracking devices.
- Location: Required by Android to perform Bluetooth/WiFi scans. Used locally for device mapping and geofence features. Never transmitted.
- WiFi: Required to scan for WiFi-based surveillance devices and rogue networks.
- Microphone: Used only during TSCM Physical Sweep for acoustic analysis of ultrasonic emissions. Audio is processed in real-time and never recorded or stored.
- Vibration: Optional haptic feedback during TSCM sweep when EMF thresholds are exceeded.
- Notifications: For background scan alerts and threat notifications.
3. Data Storage
All data is stored locally using an encrypted Room database on your device. This includes scan sessions, detected devices, threat events, geofence configurations, and app settings. Data is automatically deleted after 30 days by default. You can adjust the retention period (7–90 days) or manually delete all data at any time from the Privacy & Security settings within the app.
4. Data Sharing
SentryRF does not share any data with third parties. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, crash reporting services, or telemetry of any kind embedded in the application. The only network requests the app makes are for subscription verification through the platform store (Google Play or Amazon Appstore).
5. Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are managed through the platform where you downloaded the app — either Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore. SentryRF does not process or store any payment information directly. Subscription status is verified locally through the respective platform's billing library.
6. On-Device AI
All 11 AI models run entirely on your device. No scan data, device signatures, Bluetooth advertisements, or threat assessments are sent to any cloud service for processing. The AI models are bundled with the app and receive updates only through standard app updates via the platform store.
7. Children's Privacy
SentryRF is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our website.
